Dancing with the Handmaid

I am grateful I was invited to see the premiere of Dancing with the Handmaid – a behind the scenes exploration on the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s best selling novel The Handmaid’s Tale. I am especially grateful because my new talented friend Kathleen Easton directed this documentary!

Bravo Kathleen – what a beautiful production that was!

Discovering culture through senses is a very unique experience!!

I am grateful I can touch, taste and smell…

My love for ballet is greater than my love for contemporary dancing. 🙂

Not by much – but it is greater.

I love the grace of movements, the “weightless” bodies twirling and spinning, the musicality, the lightness, the charm…

Here is a clip from a recent performance I watched at Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

I am grateful for every talented dancer whose hard work seems so effortless and easy.

They amaze me every time I have the honor to watch them!  Thank you!
